REDLAND FLORIDA We have been feeding this most handsome gentleman for a couple of months. He is homeless in Redland and needs Immediate help. Per volunteers: “He’s gotten better with cats he’ll chase them but i havent seen him harm one since they slap him back... hes ok w Leo he keeps his distance only a problem was when the female was there ... shes gone now... hes good w people he gets afraid when u raise ur hand as if to pet i think he feels like he will be hit but once he sees you r feeding him he comes right up to you and licks you... hes a big boy ... intimidating but to me harmless” “He is sweet he listens when u tell him to stay away from others food , but will sneak back.” Please contact us if you have space for this handsome gentleman! THE ONLY WAY WE CAN PICK THEM UP IS WITH A REPUTABLE RESCUE AND/OR A LONG TERM FOSTER. 1. How can you leave them? We need financial resources along with a long term (6+ months) foster commitment or a REPUTABLE 501 rescue. 2. Who took the video and just left? Our volunteer feeders who know NOT to pick up a dog without the boards approval. 3. They could’ve been stolen and dumped. Any dog picked up by us, we will be reported to Miami Dade Animal Services lost and found data base. If they are picked up and transferred to a reputable rescue, that info is also sent to MDAS. HOWEVER, you are more than welcome to share on all lost and found pages. ... See more
Hello everyone is me TITANIUM checking in 😉 I had a very busy day today, first my foster mom drove me to Felix Varela Veterinary Academy this morning where Marcos and Jordanne were waiting to pamper me. They cut my nails, I wasn't cooperating much, but they knew how to get the job done 🤔 I was also fitted for a harness since I am growing daily. They gave me love and so much attention. These kids treat me like royalty!!! Since I was such a good boy my foster mom took me to the park, I was able to run and play Next week my team is taking me to the University of Florida where I will be evaluated and hopefully they will also do the surgery that I desperately need to correct my congenital anomaly My team is ready to head there with me and although I'm a bit scared I know that people like you are sending positive thoughts and prayers my way My surgery will be costly and I would like to have your support. Please make a small donation, this will give me the opportunity to have a normal life. BRUCE or MR. BRUCE as he is lovingly known as at the boarding facility where he stays 😍 This meatball is an American Bulldog Mix, weighs 50lbs and is approximately 3 yrs young!!!! He has a lot of love to give! Sad to think he was found abandoned, emaciated and confused when we picked him up in March in Homestead, FL 😢 Fast forward to today and he is the happiest little roly-poly. He is a super sweet and loving dog that is looking for his furever human and soft bed to call his own ❤️❤️ Mr. Bruce is microchipped, fully vetted and neutered. Please message us if you are interested in giving him a home. #adoptdontshop #FosteringSavesLives #Rockpitsurvivor #RescueDogsofMiami #rescuedogsrock #AdoptMrBruce #RRRPDogsRock ... See more

NANOOK-REDLAND SURVIVOR https://agoldphoto.com/dog-abanonded-in-everglades-celebrates-gotcha-month-a-year-later-with-a-dog-photo-shoot/
Nanook was found tied to a pole in an isolated area in the Everglades by a group of volunteers with Redland Rock Pit Abandoned Dogs Project out of Miami, Florida.
Every single day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, year after year, our volunteers selflessly give of their time, their effort, their emotional energy, their family and other pets’ rightful time, their resources, their money. They go out, rain or shine, threat of storm or heat, and they feed. The dogs show up on our routes faster than we can manage, they multiply faster than we can manage, they need our help faster than we can manage. And we beg for help, we beg for fosters, we beg for adopters, we beg for the community to spay or neuter, we beg for the community to contain their own dogs, to take care of their own dogs, so as not to add to the roaming, PLEASE. We beg for authorities to do their jobs and protect these innocent voiceless animals. We beg. Yet the dogs still come and they show up, out there alone to fend for themselves, in need of a meal, in need of meds, in need of love, in need of a home, in DESPERATE need of compassion. This guy was on our Rockpit route last night. None of our feeders have ever seen him. He was hungry, dirty, and confused and asking to hop into every car that he saw. At the same time, he was sweet and playful and happy, even though he clearly didn’t understand his situation. I know I didn’t sleep after meeting him. So forgive us if we don’t have patience if you want to get rid of your dog for the smallest of reasons. Forgive us if we don’t have patience for your lack of responsibility when it comes to properly caring for or containing your animals. Forgive us if we are in a bad mood because we have seen for the fourth time in a week a bag full of dead animals and that Miami-Dade County has ignored our service requests and has been heartlessly left there to rot. Forgive us. We need help. We need people who want to save a life. We need people who want to help a deserving animal who has been let down so many times. Please let us know if you can help. In any way. #foster #volunteer #donate #share #educate #ADOPT If you can spare a little, as always, it’s appreciated. https://donorbox.org/redlandsrockpit REDLAND ROCKPIT ABANDONED DOG PROJECT, INC ...
